Why Attend Make.com Local Meetups?

Hello Sonia. Nice to meet you. Thank you for coming. I have two questions for you. Why are the local meetups important for the Make users?

Sonia: In Make, we care about our community and we appreciate that they came here, for example, to Wave, and we meet with them like every once a year. But now we also want to meet them in their places. So that's why we're gonna have more and more of these local meetups because this is where actually the magic happens. We love the online community and we love interacting with anyone in the world, but the real in-life experience is way better. So this is why we want to promote them and to create these safe spaces where any Make user can actually enjoy meeting other Make users. Or they can get inspiration about a scenario or how to apply the last AI feature. So that's why we want to meet with you in your local cities.

Very nice. And the second question is, why should you attend Make users meetups?

Sonia: First of all is meeting other like-minded people because meeting other Make users will actually help you develop new skills. You could also get a business opportunity out of there. If you are a freelancer or you are an agency, you might even get to know your future client there because it's someone that is interested in automation and AI and they go to the meetup because of the talk and because of the network. So you could actually get a business opportunity out of there. But there is also about sharing best practices. I'm working at my home with my laptop, at my office, and I am all the time working with myself or with my teammates, but actually having other points of view and sharing this experience and best practices is also something that arises from casual conversations that happen around an event or a meetup. And that's what we like about it - how you can get more involved with other people that are part of the community and that help you unleash other capabilities that you might not know that you have.

So all these local meetups will be organized by Make.com?

Sonia: We have just launched the Make AI World Tour. This is our way of doing this tour all around the world and meeting communities locally. And by the way, I'm really glad that you're also gonna host some of them. So I want to take the opportunity to thank you for helping us create these spaces where our Make users can actually engage in real life and get all these different opportunities that will arise - friendships, business opportunities, or whatever we'll see.
