Top 5 Best Platforms for Low-Code/No-Code Development in 2022
Automation is coming more and more. Find out now the TOP 5 platforms for no-code and low-code development in 2022.
Top 5 Best Platforms for Low-Code/No-Code Development in 2022
Low-code and no-code tools enable the developers and non-developers to construct mobile or web applications by simply dragging and dropping application components. When these platforms are addressed, the development approaches they provide are often mentioned. Instead of writing code line by line, low-code and no-code modular techniques allow skilled developers to design apps swiftly. Small company owners, office managers, and other individuals without programming experience may now create and test software with the help of these tools. Traditional programming languages, machine code, and the development effort underlying the platform's adjustable components are unnecessary for these developers when creating apps. Following are some of the tools that aid in the process of web development without the one needing to be a web developer, let's have a look!
Top 5 + extra 1 Tools
1. Make.com (formerly Integromat)
Make.com enables you to automate manual and repetitive activities to reduce the mistake rate and improve the efficiency of workers and the firm. Application integration and data manipulation are the wonderful features that you can enjoy with this tool. In the development of web applications, this tool provides assistance in compiling source code into executable programs and libraries. Apart from the basic functions, Make.com can be used on raw files to run analysis scripts and visualization scripts.
Bubble serves two properties. It is a tool as well as a platform, which means it has a drag and drop interface to create an application and it acts as a platform that serves the application. All in all, it allows the developer or non-developer to create the application and then run it smoothly too. Although coders and non-coders both can use it, it appeals more to the non-coders who can use it with great ease. The plug-ins, real-time collaborations, and its user interface are some of the highlighting features of this tool.
In a matter of minutes, this Berlin-based start-up has established a terrific platform for creating websites and online applications. Softr is beginner-friendly and ideal for everyday usage. This tool allows you to create an amazing website from the content you have in your Airtable. It is yet another amazing no-code platform that helps non-coders create their applications.
Airtable is database design simplified, in literal meaning. With Airtable you may make the most of your databases by using the built-in automation features. API (application programming interface) is a great way of connecting to any system. We appreciate SeaTable as a German-language alternative! In a word, Mainz's team is. This low-code application is very easy to use and offers custom views for different applications. Another amazing feature of Airtable is its offering to collaborate with the others on the platform, bringing efficiency to the work.
It's a myth that email marketing has died. SendInBlue is ideal for onboarding and sales campaigns, as well as automation. This tool is ideal for anyone looking to grow a business by offering the right marketing tools. Be it a B2B or B2C business, SendInBlue comes to the rescue to maintain healthy relationships with the clients.
You name it and Figma will help you create it, be it websites, logos, or online applications. In terms of app design, Figma can be your go-to tool, as well as for everything else in the graphics department, for example content planning. Furthermore, Figma enables collaboration with the team in real-time to bring better ideas to the table, hence, increasing the efficiency of the work.

These platforms can be used to develop an app to increase operational efficiency, such as automating manual and paper-based processes or supporting business process management. They can also be used to modernize outdated systems so that companies can drive their digital transformation, migrate to the cloud, or adopt breakthrough technologies such as IoT and AI.
In addition, these platforms can be used to develop business apps for employees and apps for business partners, or to create apps for consumers.
If you had to choose one of the above tools, Make.com and Bubble would definitely come out on top. But the others are also good and have a lot to offer.
Want to learn more about Bubble and Make? Our very first masterclass is all about that.
Cloud Integration, iPaaS, SaaS, BPA… Ough, hard to keep track of all these terms. They are currently used frequently (and increasingly) in the context of automation, and it is sometimes difficult to make a clear distinction and distinction. We have already written blog posts on the terms iPaaS, SaaS and BPA, but we’ll take them up again here to make the difference.
But let’s start with cloud integration, because that’s the central umbrella term in which we embed all the other technologies in this blog post.
To illustrate these advantages, an example is suitable that we know well from our everyday work as an automation agency:
The central data to be used here is the data of a major customer. This can be the simplest information, such as the address. This address is required in numerous but completely different processes in the company: on the one hand, for correct invoicing in accounting. On the other hand, in the CRM system, where all the data of the large customer is also stored. But the address is also important in sales, for example, when employees go to the sales meeting on site.
Now the customer announces that the address of the company has changed after a move. This information will reach you by e-mail. There are now two options:
01. The e-mail is forwarded to all affected departments, accounting, sales, customer service, marketing… All persons open their corresponding program, CRM, accounting software, marketing tools (such as newsletter marketing) and change the data already stored there of the customer. This means that in multiple applications, different people do exactly the same thing: change one address. 02. But there is also an alternative: By connecting your applications, thus by integrizing them, the customer’s e-mail, or rather the information it contains about the address change, is automatically passed on to all affected applications: CRM, accounting, marketing, ERP. This does not require any clicks, because the cloud integration detects a trigger, i.e. address change, and thus automatically starts the process.
What sounds unimpressive in a single process becomes more effective when such a process occurs several times a day or weekly. Because there is a lot of data that is available in different applications and should always be correct. If these applications are cloud applications they are suitable for cloud integration.
But cloud integration doesn’t just happen. There are now a variety of applications that enable and implement this. Such tools usually allow us to link the relevant cloud applications on a central platform and define clear rules on when, how, where, how much data should be passed on and what happens to them.
IPaaS, SaaS, BPA, ABC – who can still see through it?
To realize cloud integration, there are various applications and technologies that are sometimes used interchangeably.
Cloud integration cannot be done without SaaS, iPaaS and BPA
Cloud integration is rather an umbrella term that includes numerous technologies, such as SaaS, iPaaS and BPA, and this is also absolutely necessary. Cloud integration is a concept that is made possible by appropriate technologies.
However, all terms share the commonality that they are cloud-based and thus offer enormous potential for growth and scaling. In addition, they are often cheaper to implement and maintain because changed requirements are easy to implement.
As an independent automation agency, we implement cloud integration according to your requirements. We use a variety of SaaS tools and iPaas (strictly speaking BPA) software. Together we find individual solutions that are flexible and scalable.
